It’s never too late to begin your journey in wellness! Follow our top tips for getting healthy:

  1. Write out your goals. What are you losing weight for? Where do you want to be in a month or in three months time? Set weekly goals and aim to reward yourself with something really simple and small when you achieve that goal. Good examples include a new nail varnish, a new belt or a new workout DVD!
  2. Begin your journey where you’re standing now. Accept where you are and where you need to be and begin the steps necessary to bridge that gap. Only you can make the change and with all the right resources and support you can really do it!
  3. Learn from your setbacks. Making mistakes and experiencing failure is all a part of being human and living. Rather than getting down on yourself, take that setback and turn it into something positive.  Something you can use to reach your goals. Sometimes life is indeed two steps forward, one step back!
  4. Stop comparing yourself to others. Images of “perfect” bodies bombard us every day. It’s easy to get caught up in all of it and feel as though we’ll never measure up.  Chances are, we won’t. Let’s get real! These images are results of computer imagery, great lighting, professional make-up artists and sometimes just really good genes. Stop comparing yourself to a fantasy and just be the best you that you can be. Be your own Perfect Fit!
